Warranty Options – Extended Protection Plan
The Right Protection Plan for You
When you buy a Subaru Protection Plan, you’re buying freedom from worrying about unexpected and costly repair bills. As a Subaru owner, you have expectations for a pleasurable, trouble-free ownership experience — now and into the future. Once your 36-month/60,000-km New Vehicle Limited Warranty period ends,* our Subaru Protection Plan (SPP) — the only vehicle service contract endorsed by Subaru Canada for Subaru vehicles — can prolong your hassle-free ownership experience. SPP offers comprehensive mechanical and electrical coverage and a number of additional features and benefits, such as Roadside Assistance and Alternate Transportation, for up to 7 years or 160,000 km from your vehicle’s in-service date. Whether your vehicle is purchased or leased, SPP provides you with enough flexibility to suit your needs while delivering a higher level of protection for you and your investment.
You can further customize the coverage for you and your Subaru by choosing the deductible level ($0, $100 or $250) that is right for you. For any repair(s) covered under your Subaru Protection Plan, you pay only the deductible plus the taxes applicable to the deductible. Should the same covered part fail again, you will not have to pay the deductible for the repair. Depending on your vehicle, Subaru Protection Plan terms range from three months / 5,000 km to seven years / 160,000 km.
Peace of Mind
With a repair network throughout Canada and the continental United States and coverage that includes both parts and labour, a Subaru Protection Plan means peace of mind. You pay only your deductible, where applicable, on covered repairs.
Unfortunately, unexpected mechanical problems don’t always occur when you have a healthy savings account. With a Subaru Protection Plan, you pay only the deductible, where applicable, on vehicle repairs, giving you professional, factory-trained Subaru service technicians and Subaru authorized parts without breaking the bank.
Like most other products and services, vehicle repair costs – including both the parts and the labour involved – can increase over time. With a Subaru Protection Plan, your deductible, where applicable, stays the same over the term of your plan, making sure you are safe from inflation.
Tailored to Fit Your Needs
Not every driver is the same. That’s why not every Subaru Protection Plan is the same. Your Subaru Dealer can tailor a unique Protection Plan – based on how much you drive and the age of your vehicle, among other factors – just for you. You can choose not only the term of your Protection Plan, but also what you want your Protection Plan to cover and the amount of your deductible.
A Subaru Protection Plan can help to increase the resale value of your Subaru, as it is transferable. If you plan to sell your Subaru before the Protection Plan expires, the remaining coverage may be transferred to a subsequent owner at no charge.
